Description
Also known as saltwort and roscana, this is a seed that is very rare. Agretti is used in Japanese sushi, and in Mediterranean cuisine, lending an unusual salty flavor. Expensive and highly prized by top chefs, agretti is difficult to get to seed, making it hard to come by. Grown in salt marshes, agretti can also be grown without salt water. This is agretti is superior to the commonly used asian type. Bavicchi is actually one of the few suppliers in the world of agretti seed. This seed does not store well, so it is available for a limited time in season. UNTREATED

Agretti seeds
I bought these seeds to grow in the Florida Keys, where we have occasional saltwater innundation in our yard and I can't grow anything else!! Looking forward to lovely salads and sauteed agretti. By the way, the seeds came carefully packaged and quickly!
