Also known in Italy as 'Tonne'. A long keeping pumpkin with large, round, and only lightly ribbed oblate fruits. Pale orange-colored rind and a slightly paler pulp. This variety is used as most pumpkins are in Italy for seed, seed oil, and for cooking. Produces a multitude of fruits that grow up to 50 lbs or more in size. Excellent when picked at about 25 or more with sweet dry flesh. UNTREATED
