Lettuce with broad, very lobed and curled green leaves, with large, dark red-brown patches. slow to bolt, it sends new shoots quickly, allowing it to be cut frequently. Keeps its wonderful mild flavor in most any weather, color will be most intense in cool weather. Harder to find than regular 'Salad Bowl', we believe it to have superior flavor. UNTREATED
