An Italian chicory with broad, rounded, straight-growing leaves, tender, light green, which send new shoots quickly after being cut. If thinned out, it produces a small core which blanches naturally in the colder months. This is another fine 'cutting' type chicory preferred for fresh use and to accent salads or microgreens.
